A tiny little radio

I added a little radio, taken from a m20 armored car…

I added the steeringwheel, applied the decals, rope and covered everything in P+.

Paint on the willies

I started with the painting of the willies. I can’t say that i’m really satisfied. This is my first allies vehicle, so i’m really doubtfull about the colors. Also i had to do this with a brush, so it’s a little bit thick in some places.

I made some progress, i added a headlight and protector, the hood including netting and canvas around the screen. And some other small stuff. The fig in the pics is going to be used, maybe even a small vignet, who knows?

Windscreen and seats

With the starting of the rain, the modeling season is open again!!! I made the windscreencover and seats with diluted woodglue, and wrinckled it up a bit. I sanded the wheels a bit, because they looked to “new”. Next up: try to find a suitable material i could use for netting in 1:72 scale. Does [...]

Roofing

I made the tubes for the canvas roofing. I’m not going to put on the roof, i think it looks much better without it.

Made a wirecutter. Creepy really, That they had to put these on their vehicles in order to keep their heads. *But the cutter is so thick, it’s not gonna cut anything!* – I know, i know, i could’nt find anything thinner.

The steeringcolumn is going to be reworked, it looks a bit overscale. The molded on shovel bugs me, but cutting this off would leave to much of a mark. I’ll have to cover it with something

I turned the wheels, worked on the steer and stickshift, and also remaking the seats, they are very much overscale. Slow progress, but fun to do.
